Downloaded what says is the newest (de-bugged) version of Inkscape on my Mac Book Pro, macOS Sonoma v. 14.6.1 and when I open it all that comes across is this and I can do nothing!? What is going on with the fonts?
Retired and shut down my business which used to pay for the ridiculously priced Illustrator software, now I just want to be able to noodle around every now and then with Illustrations and thought this might be the answer. I am not into coding or programming, so if I have to figure out how to modify my computer just use this, forget it!
Tyler, I'm guessing this is a competent software package, however after reading thru all the notes and replies concerning this I can say it is all gibberish as I explained I'm not a programmer or coder.
We live in a plug and play world, so I'll just settle for deleting Inkscape and move on. Thanks anyway.
Gregory , I tried recent copy of Inkscape and after putting up with many many crashes (on an older iMac) I resorted to a version a couple of issues ago. All good now.
