Hello fellow Inksters! I've just joined and I need help in some editing I have an old project saved as a PNG and I'd like to know how I can change the fonts or indeed  edit the entire doc. It was a project that I wanted to get off the ground when I worked in Ireland and new nothing about Graphic Design so I got a guy to convert my rough draft from word to a PNG. I want to get more into GD now so I want to be able to do things myself rather than ask and then pay someone else. Perhaps one of you experts can this neophyte a step by step tutorial in how to edit docs? Thanks guys!

Hi, it's not the font that I have issues with, I want to know how to replace those fonts with an alternative choice and also how to move the components parts around

Your "doc" is an image now. When you say you want to edit it are you trying to edit individual elements like you did when you first created it? If that is the case it wont be possible as  is.

There should be some tools to convert the image to a svg for editing in inkscape, and those can get you started in this project.

Ok thanks for that. That will help me a lot. so the first step is to convert to SVG. Thanks
