When I created combined this leaf shape with a circle and used 'difference' to make a hole, a line formed in the middle of the shape. How can I remove it? I tried to highlight the nodes of these paths and delete them but that didn't do anything.
The left and right side of the leaf is not properly aligned. Path>Break Apart. Use Cusp node snapping. Align the top node of each side to each other. Path Union.
Why did this happen? Most likely if you have snapping to both Grid and Grid lines enabled. Most likely you snapped to a grid line and not grid intersection.Β
